Hey Dan,

It's cool if you don't want to answer this one, but I was wondering if the lyrics of this song were inspired by your separation from your wife. This feels like the most personal song I've heard you sing since "At the End of the Bridge" off Emotional Wasteland.

"Wounded Soul" is my second favourite piece. The voice destroys. And the acoustic guitar tone is arguably the best ever recorded on a Nightingale album. Kudos to Tom Nouga.
