hey guys....help

First thing the hospital did was get her drinking ice water, then they took her blood pressure every way from standing up, to sitting, to laying on the gurney, etc. You wouldn't believe the differences in the scores from each time they took it.

Yep, it makes me wonder. When I was at the medical office, the nurse took my BP once, frowned, then took it again...and both times it was substantially higher than on previous visits.
The doctor whistled when he saw the readings and said "We might have to start you on something, but let me check it again. Sometimes the manual tester reads differently".....and sho' 'nuff, when he checked my BP it was (thankfully) lower than the previous readings.

Makes you wonder how often you need to get a 'second opinion' on your BP, too.
