I actually picked up on that through a MySpace bulletin just then. For some reason, bulletins are displayed again, no matter how many "Friends" you have. Otherwise I wouldn't have noticed the message from UM, I'm pretty sure.
Don't ask me how that's relevant, I just thought I'd throw in my two cents.
