So I finally registered after months of lurking, and I'd like to share my newest creation. http://www.soundclick.com/xdarkknightx
The song is called "Tony Stark".....yeah......anywho I'm just getting into the recording and mixing thing, so any comments/tips would be greatly appreciated.
And I know things kinda fall apart toward the end of the song....I was running out of riff ideas and I have a bad habit not ending songs very well. That mixed with my complete lack of ability to shred results in that....but I kinda like it.....for now

I liked it a lot, kinda like a thrash version of KsE. The kick seems to be getting quite lost though.

I think this song could use some rolloff of the high end on the guitars. Also, I would try to bring some of the high end out of the overheads. It's a little harsh on the treble side overall. I think when you get the treble/presence in check, you will have an awesome mix. In the parts where the guitars are doing octave sounding stuff, there is some distortion. This should be much better if you deal with the high end stuff I mentioned earlier.

Thanks alot for the tips
turns out my multi-band is getting slammed HARD so once i tweak that and my treble things should be good
thanks again guys
