Now that you're all done with touring and stuff, hope you have more time to post on the forum..bring some taste to it. it shouldn't be hard.

Can you tell us what the next album's going to be like? Surely it will be in the same vein as Hellhammer/Manowar right? You did say you were going to make it a dark, occult album.

I'll get my coat.

i'd be kinda disappointed if it was all death...my favorite thing about Opeth is the constant conversions, how they're unexpected yet perfectly melded. whatever they do, i'm sure i'll like it. haven't been let down yet.

Considering there last 2 cd's were polar oposites I'm interested.
Nothing against there earlier work, I just hope they dont go backwards and release a cd that sounds like Black water park, or orchid, they have to keep working.

I read in an interview somewhere they are interested in having some guests perform on the album, such as Dani Filth and Leigh Dorrian.

Well hey if they manage to write any old-schoolesque songs like The Moor, April Ethereal and Blackwater Park that give me an instant boner when played live, then more power to the new album. I would preffer not to see Opeth go forth with the direction Deliverance set, and I'm quite confident they won't.

That i am yet to do, i haven't heard any bloodbath material before. Whats the guitar work like?

Bloodbath are excellent, especially if you're into the late 80s/early 90s death metal stuff. I suggest you pick them both up (the Breeding Death EP and the Resurrection Through Carnage album; they're both good)

I've seen them available both on the same disk if you'd prefer the cheaper option.

As long as it doesn't sound too much deliverance I'm satisfied... well of course there are exceptions but you should know what I mean. It's not that deliverance isn't good, it's badass but I'm wanting something fresh.
