High tuned snare with no snares sample?

I'm looking for a spanky, high tuned snare sample with no snares (some might call it a trash can snare, hehe). Sort of like on these tracks:





I've been searching for similar ones on the net, but to no awail so far. I would go record some myself, but I KNOW my snare couldn't take being tuned that high (it's a cheap snare). It'd be really cool if someone had something similar sounding, and wanted to share it. Also what should one do to achieve this sound? I'm thinking lots of compression (probably paralell compression also), if anyone has any tips, it would be cool.

It just sounds like a piccolo snare, 12" or 13" diameter, tuned high - keep looking and I'm sure you'll find something.
