This list was posted over at PMX:2 and I was inspired by Teddy M's post in that thread (awesome stuff). It's a total farce as Hit Parader is nothing but shit meant to sell, but let's move beyond that.
Instead of ranking your top vocalists (as that has been done to death) or saying how stupid the rankings are, simply comment on those in the list below. Forget being politically correct or trying to defend their place in history. If you think they suck, say it.

:lol: This list basically lists all of the popular singers in Rock and Metal. Kurt, Serj, Lemmy and Tom (from Slayer) should not even be on the list. Especially Lemmy. This must explain why Lemmy is on it.

To clear up some of the whos? Chester is from LINKIN PARK, Joshua (Josh) Todd is from Buckcherry (Crazy Bitch fave).
 
I am curious as to how chester made that list. He's one of the most out of tune singers I've ever heard and all he does is yell.

I think the ONLY people who should be on that list are (in no particular order):

  1. Peter Steele- Yes, I am a total TON fan girl, I think you should have realized that by now.
  2. Dickenson- GOD
  3. Layne Staley- Even though toward the end of AIC, he wasn't doing much of the vocals, I loved his voice
  4. Lemmy- 'nough said
  5. Bowie- 'nough said
  6. Scabbia- She might not be the best but to be behind Amy Lee? Ick. At least Scabbia sounds great live. And I happen to like Lacuna Coil (Who I will see tomorrow night with In Flames!)
  7. Coverdale- Cheesy, but great range

Other than that the rest of the list is a freaking joke. Well save for Ozzy, not that I think he's a great vocalist, but I think he's on there for what he's done with the heavy scene. And although I haven't heard much of Ripper Owens voice, he's a PP attendee so he doesn't count in comparison with the other douche bags. ;) Even bands on there that I like (Manson, NIN, Zombie) I wouldn't ever say are/have the best vocalists ever.

So that's how many that truly deserve to be on there? And what about all the ones that were forgotten?
