Grip Inc. - Incorporated

This is Heavy Fucking Metal at its finest. In particular, vocalist Gus Chambers has lent a great variety of styles this time instead of the same yelling he's done in the past, even though there was nothing lacking in his vocals. Probably not as good as their best album, Nemesis, but still above and beyond any other band making heavy music right now.

I must also mention Drudkh and the new Bergthron, which I am enjoying more each time I listen. SO thanks goes to BWD and Erik for those recomendations.

Crowpath is leading the way right now.

However, Today is the Day, Neurosis, and possibly Mastodon should all have VERY strong releases later this year. Maybe Old Man Gloom as well.

Plus many other bands that are running in place, as Grip Inc. is doing.

Also . . . is Grip Inc. an S-Corporation or a C-Corporation?

I'm think I'd place Incorporated right behind Nemesis already, and I love The Power of Inner Strength. I really dig the variety on it because it's obviously heavy thrash, but then all of a sudden they'll be a flamenco introduction or something. Plus Lombardo is back in top form after a few years of playing slow... for him that is. :kickass:
