oh come on, that line is funny as hell. I seriously think the reason some audiences get offended by Devin is because he has a very odd sense of humor. He curses out his own audiences all the time, but they get it and laugh at it because they know its part of his act. So I guess when he does it in front of a crowd thats not familiar with it he gets negative reactions.

BTW - at the Farmingdale show, Devin really didn't get very rowdy on stage, and even complimented Romeo (something to the effect of "I kind of feel embarassed taking a guitar solo knowing that such a badass like Romeo is gonna come on afterwards").

I agree. A majority of Symphony X fans are (excuse the term) pussy power metal fans who use "progressive" to cover up their favorite band's lack of creativity. What's progressive about Smyphony X? Their sound never progresses. Devin has made Terria, which is something not even fatass fast fingered Michael Romeo could of done. By the way, I'm a Symphony X fan, I just understand who's the better artist. I saw them in Phoenix, and Devin said it was the best show on the tour because me and my friends actually supported him. Nicest guy I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Talked to him for 45 minutes.

Anyway I'll second BastrdDrmr's post just for the "fatass fast finger" comment, which really does nothing but make you look like the idiot. And when was the last time an opener got full support from the crowd? They have two completely different styles, no fucking shit not everybody's gonna like it. I'm surprised Devin hasn't figured this out by now
