Hopkins was bored: A Fair Judgement

Good job on the guitar tone, but the playing is a little lifeless. I think you may want to slow it down and get into some vibratos on there, and kinda liven up the playing. The really mechanical drum loop doesnt really help the case either.

Fix your avatar and your page. Then we can start listening, and reading!

Edit: Got page to work. Now, fix avatar!
Edit 2: Well, better. Better, not good. Your closing in!

What did you use to record the guitars? What effects? Direct? Mic'd?
What this really was, was me testing out some new guitar sounds to see how they sounded... this was a good riff to try em out given how droney and dirgey it is. I'm using a POD 2.0 direct into the soundcard.

The drums where just there to keep me in time. They are total crap haha :Spin:

I was just going for the tight drone mechanical type playing anyway. I was chording for maximum fatness so I didn't bother doing the trem notes etc...

Sounds pretty fat, though it sounds slightly faster and subsequently slightly less heavier than the original.
