I have strange feeling about Horgh in Hypocrisy after yesterday's Xmass concert in Brno. I hoped he kick up the show but he didn't bring anything new to Hypocrisy's song. I really think that he must be bored by this playing. I don't understand it...Doesn't he have any inventions or can't he use them...?

Wow I have to completely disagree with you there - to me, I have seen a great improvement in the live show and drums since Horgh has gotten in. He brings a lot to the table and I think Bringer is right - he can't go and over-improvise songs that have been around forever. But he does a FANTASTIC job on Virus, I must say. And btw, he isn't bored with the playing, he actually very much enjoys to be in Hypocrisy. ;)

Horgh is way better technically than Lars, its quite evident on Virus

but still Im gonna miss Lars's songwritting ; Shamateur, Disconnected magnetic corridors...Time warp, Hatred, destroyed...only to name a few

these are good songs

I wonder if Lars had lost weight that he would have tried harder to step up in his drumming abilities?! Even Peter said that he asked Lars to really bring more to the table & Lars just wasn't able (or didn't want to) to do just that! In fact, I thought I read an interview w/in the last few years, that had Peter state something that he wanted 'The Arrival' to be more of an intense album but it was mostly because of how Lars was that that didn't happen. Not too long after that album came out didn't Horgh join the band? Or was it after the first tour w/ Lars? I can't remember.

I really really loved Lars Drum play. I loved it all the years from "the fourth dimension"(that's the lp i started with) over "abducted" till "the arrival".
Since i am a fan of the older hypocrisy stuff i'll really miss him. Even on the concerts(i saw them in munich and hanau, germany this december).
I don't know what to say anymore...:( It's not that i dislike horgh, but Lars was some kind of companion on my journey through the world of music.

im getting depressed...bye

Well, considering that Lars was ALWAYS the drummer, it's like the member of a family is gone! But who knows, maybe Horgh will be around for a while & it will seem like he's always been here OR maybe Lars will reunite w/ the rest of the guys! We will see!:Spin:
