Alright, so every time Mike starts crooning on this song, I get the image of him in a blue pinstripe suit with a matching fedora clutching a 50's mic and sitting half on a baby grand [fedora pulled down of course] with Per in a tux looking slightly drunk at the bench of the piano... both under a single spotlight....


Anyone else see this, or am I just losing it???

Funny but if I try to imagine Mike singing this I get an image of him all curled up in a window like Brett Michaels from the "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" video.

That being said I love this song.

for the video, I want them to screw the rest of the song [up to the end solo] and break out the trumpets, the highstepper line and the pyrotechnics into some swanky 50's style ending and go all broadway on our arses.

You can't forget the greased back hair and 'tache, he'd have the punters crying in their glasses (in my opinion one of the saddest sights you can see, besides a stick-thin african kid), then he'd rip their rectums unexpectedly in two when he suddenly breaks out with april ethereal.

It'd be criminal not to do a jazz club style smoky atmosphere video. With old school mikes, Mendez on an upright bass, give it a drum beat with some nice tish-ti-ti-tish ride work. Of course he could keep the porno tache, but I think the suit is a good look.
