i feel so bad for that girl but i think that there has to be a way to handle it that doesnt involve boycotting an entire country. although indonesia COULD be boycotted for other more widespread b.s. like... for example... the mail order bride industry which they seem to like, love.

i dunno, boycotting a country because of its unjust policies is A-OK with me. vide: south africa, myanmar, etc.

it is, however, a terrible mistake if you are incorrect about the injustice of the country's policies. vide: israel, canada, etc.
