My problem is this. We have more to worry about in society than words. Murder, rape and child abuses of all kinds happen on an hourly basis and these criminals go unpunished.

If they are punished they simply go on with life with no public ridicule afterwards. However, call a black person a "my pals", an asian a "chink", a mexican a "wetback", or an arab a "towel head" and your branded for life.

A word is a word. The fact is that people say sum dumb shit sumtimes and I truly believe the world as a whole should worry about worse things.

To be honest the only song I love with John Bush singing is Poison my eyes and agree that he sounds grungey at times but should probably try to listen to a bit more of the albums with him as I think he has a great voice. I remember liking a song called Superhero too.

Somehow I doubt "Bare," which was written about Bush's father dying, was inspired or ripped off in anyway from an album that came out ten months earlier. (Vitalogy) And that one song surely can't represent the album.

And there's no way "Animal" is heavier than "RAOSV," though I don't know how you measure how heavy a song is. I can tell you no Pearl Jam drummer would come close to Charlie on that song.

I will say, however, that the ebow solo in it was inspired by U2. Charlie said this in an interview.

Perhaps you don't like those two songs, but in every video I've watched from the tour, the crowd went quite apeshit during those songs.
