HOW COME "WHIGGER" IS ALLOWED

My problem is this. We have more to worry about in society than words. Murder, rape and child abuses of all kinds happen on an hourly basis and these criminals go unpunished.

If they are punished they simply go on with life with no public ridicule afterwards. However, call a black person a "my pals", an asian a "chink", a mexican a "wetback", or an arab a "towel head" and your branded for life.

A word is a word. The fact is that people say sum dumb shit sumtimes and I truly believe the world as a whole should worry about worse things.

I think that white guys who act, dress and talk with black inflections are a complete embarrasment to themselves and deserve to be taken the piss out of but then I also believe that any white guy who chooses to sit round listening to rap music that degrades his own race is nothing more than a frustrated wannabe going through an identity crisis.

The Pearl Jam wannabe stuff (Stomp 442) ain't too great either.

To be honest the only song I love with John Bush singing is Poison my eyes and agree that he sounds grungey at times but should probably try to listen to a bit more of the albums with him as I think he has a great voice. I remember liking a song called Superhero too.

You didn't ask me a question you chode!

Did I say JB sounds like Eddie? No, you stupid cunt! Listen to Vitalogy and Bare sounds a lot like that.

Oh aye, Animal is heavier than Random Acts of Senseless Violence.

I could have said you didn't follow my command, but that just didn't sound as nice.

Somehow I doubt "Bare," which was written about Bush's father dying, was inspired or ripped off in anyway from an album that came out ten months earlier. (Vitalogy) And that one song surely can't represent the album.

And there's no way "Animal" is heavier than "RAOSV," though I don't know how you measure how heavy a song is. I can tell you no Pearl Jam drummer would come close to Charlie on that song.

So what you mean is you didn't ask me a question at all?

I said 'sounds' like you fool! Lyrics have nothing to do with the actual sound of a song and if you played Bare next to a Pearl Jam track from Vitalogy such Nothingman then I'm sure an objective listener could draw parallels between the two.

Well, if you don't know how to measure how heavy a song is why did you 'command' me to find a PJ song heavier than Random Acts of Senseless Violence or In a Zone?

I said to find one. I don't see why the semantics are that important.

"Drawing parallels" and being "Pearl Jam wannabe stuff" are quite different. Sure, they're both slow. That doesn't mean Anthrax was trying to be like Pearl Jam.

And I wanted to see if you'd attempt to answer. I'm guessing if PJ whipped out a song like those at one of their shows, their fans would wet their pants.

There is more in common between the song Bare and a Pearl Jam song than just the tempo -

- structurally having an acoustic song that crescendos the way that Bare does is a very Pearl Jam type trait

- John's 'Yeahs!' and the backing vocals in Bare are also blatantly meant to sound like Pearl Jam

- the lyrical theme (if Bare is about John's dad dying) is very similar to a little known song called Alive done by Pearl Jam back in 1991 that proved to be VERY successful

They certainly weren't trying to be Anthrax that's for sure.

Why? It's not like those songs (Random Acts of Senseless Violence or In a Zone) are that heavy...

Ok, well clearly they did the song to be like Pearl Jam, not because, you know, John's fucking father died. And yeah, Pearl Jam does own all rights to the word "yeah." (And while we're at it, "Pieces," about Frank's brother dying was probably a PJ ripoff too.

I will say, however, that the ebow solo in it was inspired by U2. Charlie said this in an interview.

Perhaps you don't like those two songs, but in every video I've watched from the tour, the crowd went quite apeshit during those songs.
