I agree with Joel, this has all the great Testament elements. Hard to pick a fav here. I left this show feeling exhausted and completely satisfied everything was played precisely.
One of my all time fav Testament albums.

Yeah, it's an excellent record. I voted for Dog Faced Gods. Very easily could have chosen several other songs and not felt bad about the choice.

This is my fave Testament album without Alex Skolnick in the lineup, and picking a favourite song from it is incredibly hard! "The Legacy" may be my fave Testament ballad, but it only beats "Trail Of Tears" by a cat's whisker! It's a mystical and magical song about Native Americans, so Chuck was writing about his heritage long before "Native Blood" on the new album. It's a wonderful song, and features a stunning guitar solo from James Murphy. Definitely one of the best metal ballads of all time, and so underrated too!

"Legions" is a crushing riff monster, as is the even more intense "Dog Faced Gods"! In fact, "Shades Of War" is the only song on the album that dips even slightly under the "awesome" bar! It's very hard to choose between the rest of the songs, though if I was forced, I'd probably say "Ride", "Urotsukidoji", "Hail Mary", and "Trail Of Tears" are my fave songs on on the album.
