How many guitars?

Since thread got a bit into the technical details of deliverance's production, could you confirm the stuff used for guitars production? I heard each guitar is recorded 4 times, a folk in this thread pointed earlier for 8 tracks... I heard others saying about 2 guitars.. I'm not satisfied with rumours, since I love the last Opeth albums on the production side, especially deliverance. Also, I'm very curious to know if Mike's used his GT-6 for the distortion, or if he just used it's chorus/whatever, with the amp's distortion channel. I only know Mike/Peter use GT-6 live with Laneys (GH100L & TT00H) in the clean channel and with its eq set flat, like 5 for each knob when playing live. I'm curious to know the details relating to Opeth's production side.

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but I'll second what morningstar asked. I'm very curious about Opeth's recording set-up.

Btw, how did you fit into the recording process of Deliverance, Andy? The band only rant on about Steve Wilson doing the production on their documentary, with you getting mention for salvaging the recordings.
