U S Foreign Aid to those that hate us:

Egypt, for example, after voting 79% of the time against the United
States, still receives $2 billion annually in US Foreign Aid.

Jordan votes 71% against the United States
And receives $192,814,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.

Pakistan votes 75% against the United States
Receives $6,721,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.

India votes 81% against the United States
Receives $143,699,000 annually.

Perhaps it is time to get out of the UN and give the tax savings back to
the American workers who are having to skimp and sacrifice to pay the
taxes (and gasoline).

It proves that the US, our elected officials piss away millions upon millions of dollars to help countries that do not share our nationa moral outlook or even our form of democracy for that matter.

What does our national moral outlook, if one even exists, have to do with votes in the UN.....pretty much nothing.......

Jeez, lets see, our moral outlook would include our opposition to child labor, tyranny, abuse of civil liberites, etc. In case you did not know, the UN votes on many issues that impact the lives of many people, and these issues can include torture, AIDS research, famine relief, childrens rights, etc.

Sorry if you dont feel that the US squandering money on nations that oppose are views is a non issue, but many people do, especially considering that money could be used in more productive ways or perhaps a tax break or two

sorry but this is fucking stupid. foreign aid is meant to save lives around the world, not serve as some kind of cruel political leverage

We oppose child labor?...I bet your kids toys where made by kids.....We oppose tyranny?.......Only when it meets are interests we sold weapons to Saddam because he was fighting Iran......Your point about the government squandering money is not lost on me though......We only give the UN about 2 or 3 billion a year so getting out of that organization is'nt going to save us that much.....our treacherous leader wants another 100 billion for that mess in the Iraq..we already spend 500 billion a year on defense related programs......I say save the money pull back to Kuwait and let sunni/shia turf war play itself out.....

Do you really think Egypt and Jordan need welfare checks? We are more or less buying the their allegiance--political leverage, besides the only other leverage America had was saber rattling, and well with our military streched so thin thats not an option. How much of that aid do you think goes to help saving lives anyway?

Cant disagree on your first couple of points and I completely agree about letting the various factions fight it out in Iraq, we(the US) cannot referee a civil war and that is exactly what its becoming. This conflict/feud has been going on longer than the US has been in existance and we are not going to stop it
