Found this on GS, it's pretty cool. I can't really hear 18khz, but 17 is no problem. My cat eats this shit for breakfast though.


EDIT: I did this on computer speakers btw, haven't tried it with my monitors.

Everyone knows finns only hear up to 3-4 khz becuse of extensive linguistic trauma, mostly due to overexposure of Å, Ä and Ö


and also alcohol

seems like I found out why my mixes suck
14 was ok, 15 was only a pop in the beginning, nothing more, but my cat
freaked out and left the room, should try it again with headphones, but
I have reduced hearing from birth and had a few ear infections as a baby
so I knew that it's going to suck

I could hear 15khz easily, 16khz was more of a problem. 17khz and above I couldn't hear.

Although colleague just pointed... this is could be of bollock. If they're streaming Mp3's those frequencies will be completely buggered by the mp3 compression annnnyyywaaayy...

I can just about "feel" 19khz here and on the cubase test tone generator with headphones on and also on A7's. The starting and stopping of the clips makes it a slightly unfair test I think, especially with the huge pop at the start which sets your ears up to hear something 10 x louder than what they are going to receive in the 5 brief seconds following that.

i could just about hear 16 but 17 was gone, im 19yo dont think thats too, bad considering i have a history of bad ear infections, temp deafness etc
