im not sure if this is the right place for this but i really need help with this problem
i just got anew comp to dedicate to recording and i plug my usual set up in and i got to record and there is an abnoxious hum
i dont know here to look ive done everything i could think of, and now il left wondering if it is the comp or grounding
i run beringher uca202, a real cheap thingy that lets me connect rca cables to a stereo system and my mixer which i record through (should be obvious with one is input and output)
and pervious to my new comp i ran a laptop and got no hum what-so-ever and its not the cables springing a short so i have no idea where to look
help please
