"After four years, HYPOCRISY — the Swedish extreme metal band led by guitarist/vocalist Peter Tägtgren (also of PAIN) — will finally be back on the road in Europe in January as part of the "Long Time, No Death… Europe 2010" tour with SURVIVORS ZERO and HATESPHERE.

To really give the fans something special, the band has decided to let its fans vote for their favoriate songs that they want to see performed live. The top-voted songs will be played on the upcoming tour."

An awesome idea that should be done more often! I voted:

Penetrailia
4th Dimension
Global Domination
Fire In The Sky
Pleasure Of Molestation

and BTW Heavy M, why chosing songs that they do play live often anyway?

I think its the perfect opportunity for the fans to FINALLY hear AWESOME tunes that are overlooked and never played live or almost

Pleasure of molestation is often played live, so is 4th Dimension and Fire in the sky

tunes I would have chosen too :

Seeds of the chosen one
Another dead end for another dead man
Blinded
Dominion
Inquire within
Mind corruption
Symbol of baphomet
The arrival of the demons part 2
Shamateur
Fearless
Burn by the cross
Elastic inverted visions (I saw a live clip of it on youtube once)
Disconnected magnetic corridors
Paled Empty spheres
Killing art (they must have played it live a couple of times during the Abducted era)

Killing art (they must have played it live a couple of times during the Abducted era)

still I would love to see 4th dimension;
don't need rsowell 47...
Fearless live would fukcing rule, but I don't think that if they let the fans decide the setlist will be really diverse with less played songs...

elastic inverted visions live is on the nuclera blast festivals 2000 cd/dvd, it's awesome live
Killing art live on the Wacken cd is fucking brutal

I just hope that they play 1+ hour, don't care for hatesphere and the other band, Hypocrisy should just play 4 hours hehe

I only saw them once and they did not play 4th dimension or pleasure, so I would really like to hear those... plus I know most fans won't vote for those songs cause of the reasons you gave so I kinda wanted to vote for them anyways so they hopefully won't be skipped. And I didn't want to vote for anything from catch22, arrival or virus. I want to hear as much old shit as possible as I know alot of newer stuff will be played anyway, so im just trying to go classic yet against the stream so to say. :D

And I would go ape-shit for penetralia!

ok pretty much the same reason why I voted for UNTIL THE END ; they played it live often but not when I saw em...

Hopefully with all the votes, it will give a well balanced setlist, which means, THE CLASSICS, and some KILLING UNDERRATED SONGS

but then again, Im in NORTH AMERICA and thats all about EUROPE

so I vote for getting my own ass in the elder world finally!!!!! :p

I think if they try and go back to north america the setlist won't change too much from the european tour and will mostly depend on their time on stage.

And in retrospect I would have voted impotent god over fire in the sky.

my votes;

Through The Window Of time
A Thousand Lies (did they even play this on any virus tour ?)
Solar Empire (some love for the new work yea?)
Elastic Inverted Visions (after waking up to that song for over a year i must hear it live)
Inquire Within

I think we all have our dream playlist let's just hope that these polls don't get overlooked...

Request Denied
Necronomicon
No Tomorrow
Sky's Falling Down
Fire in the Sky

5... I could have picked 50

Damn, that was one of the thoughest decisions ever :p Only 5....

Global Domination
Killing Art
Inseminated Adoption
A Public Puppet
Dead Sky Dawning

Warpath
Incised Before ive Ceased
Hang Him High
Solar Empire
Sky is Falling Down

It would be nice to hear some Virus live. Impotent God would be nice too

Took me forever to choose five fucking songs omg

finally i ended up with

1. Lies
2. All turns black
3. Black Forest
4. Unfold the Sorrow
5. The Arrival of the Demons Part II

I'd die as a happy man if only one of those song made it to the final setlist.

Ended up with these, kinda random:

Fractured Millenium
Final Chapter
Fire In The Sky
Deathrow
Paradox (first song I heard by them, would be neat to see it live)

Probably should have voted for songs they don't always play, but meh. I'll be happy as fuck if I just get to see them. (Seeing as there's STILL no date i Norway... and Sweden gets FOUR? Jævla svensker. :p)

Yeah well Immortal NEVER played sweden until sweden rock 09 and then they called us "svensk jävlar" (lol, awesome gig) so I guess what comes around goes around! :p

HAIL! :kickass:

QFT

PEOPLE, PLEASE. Think twice before voting.

It was extremely difficult to choose only 5, but however I tried:

Roswell 47
Unfold The Sorrow
Elastic Inverted Visions
Black Forest
Weed Out The Weak

... On the list there wasn't "Paled Empty Sphere".
