I just opened this thread for the second time ever because I thought I had been missing something.

dude if you haven't been watching angel this season then you HAVE been missing someting. but i have all the episodes on tape so far if you ever want to watch them. 
also this is like the third season in a row with female characters going bad. willow, cordelia, now fred. i mean i am sure it will be good but i am starting to wonder if this is becoming a cliche plot device.
i keep looking at that fred picture. the blue effects with the makeup on her face look incredible.

You're going to need some kleenex tonight Greg. Also, do you know what month this season is ending in? I just read that starting in March the WB will be airing the best of Smallville instead of Angel.
they said they are letting it finish its season properly so i am betting there will be no new episodes in march after next week, probably two in april and the rest in may. that is kind of what they did with buffy last year.

also ominous i bought the firefly dvd's on tuesday. i forgot how good that show was even at the beginning.

I tried watching the first episode but I couldn't get into it. I'll try again very soon though.
i won't lie. i am sad the show got canned but seriously nathan fillion was SO amazing as the evil priest caleb in the last five episodes of buffy last year.

ok that episode was like...wow. those last scenes with fred and wes were so friggin sad. and also the scenes with angel and spike were PRICELESS. this season is so amazing and i will keep saying it over and over again.
i watched all the firefly episodes over the weekend and i was way impressed. you have to see them in order and everything but i was really happy with the results. it was a good solid first season. it bums me out because i am wondering how they could resolve the things they were leading up to and were cancelled.
but honestly, as much as i love buffy and angel, i have to admit that this series had probably the best writing for a huge ensemble cast that i have ever seen. there were nine main characters and none of them were ever neglected in epiosdes or anything and it was all cohesive and amazing and i will shut up now. but everyone should check out the series cause it was amazing.

My girlfriend downloaded the whole series before they put them out on dvd. I'll have to dig them out and see if I agree with you. I just couldn't get into it. This time I'll keep in mind that it isn't Buffy/Angel.
