i am going to attempt to start a new UM tradition here

man we need more people getting involved in this here thread. i hereby order you all to watch angel on wednesday nights at 9. ominous and i need your support to make this thread all that it can be.

so it has been decreed.

and yeah it was a very sad sad episode.

for tonight's episode i generally am cool with angel flashbacks because i mean he was around for almsot 100 years with a soul before he enters into the Buffy storyline so there must have been losts of things he was up to. what i would like to do is chart each one to make sure they are keeping the various things seperate. so far we have seen him in the 30's the 50's and the 70's and tonight's episode would put him in the 40's.

my favorite flashback is still "Are You Now Or Have You Ever Been." that episode rules!

now here's a flashback i would love to see. in his first buffy episode, spike says he was at woodstock. i think it would be an awesome nod to the long-time fans to just show a flashback of that and him feeding off a flower-child. hehe

<----Nerd Watch!

Overall I think that the WWII episode was pretty good. It still ranks pretty low in this season, for me somewhere down at the bottom with the Numero Cinco(sp?) episode. Next week looks like it could be really good or extremely bad. Have you seen the preview for it? Angel's a freaking puppet! At least they are still attempting to do something different from the rest of the series' out there.

yes i saw the puppet thing and i am interested although my opinion is that they built up to the 100th episode and resolved things accordingly but now i am so confused as to where theya re going to go that i am betting on it taking a few epsiodes to regain some ground. did you see that the episode after the puppet one is written and directed by joss whedon!

Here are some interesting things I found out today from the same professor I mentioned before; I overheard her having some conversation about Buffy with another student before our exam started this morning:

There is apparently some graduate course taught at the University of Georgia that focuses on Buffy in-depth, and there is going to be a Buffy conference at William and Mary this spring, which will include some of the writers and such.

i am not wearing the sweatpants yet, aka "giving up." i will do my best to remain as spoiler free as possible now.

i did hear that joss whedon is starting to again convince SMG to come back for one more appearance.

also alyson hannigan was on that 70's show last night. HOTT!
