If u wanna listen to a band that sounds like Sikth.....just listen to Sikth. Every other band that sounds just like em pales in comparison. Some shit like that.

I actually listened to this about 20 times, but mainly because the faces the singer and the guitarist on the right make are just too hilarious
Still, I gotta keep an eye on this band, they sounded pretty tight. Some parts were too SikThy but I don't mind, they'll probably evolve into their own thing later on.my woman introduced me to them a few months ago. funny band.

I think it is because for all their technicality and fucked-up-ness, SikTh actually wrote good SONGS. Most of the bands trying to be SikTh just take the crazy tech aspect but can't manage to match the quality or memorability of song.

Ew, I can't stand Blood Stain Child. Sounds like In Flames (whom I don't really like) combined with bad trance and emo (which I don't like either)
uke:I dunno what bands you're listening to, but it's definately not very common IMO that Japanese bands are copying North American or European bands. More like they're making stuff like X Japan or Luna Sea, but loads heavier.

Went to see them two years ago, I could hardly focus on the band since the crowd was so fucking annoying (99% 13 year old girls who were louder than the PA...).

I've seen them twice, and whenever they come again, I'll go see them. They're one of my favourite bands by far.
Yeah, I wonder what they felt like when they played their first gigs overseas
They make metal with really dark and desperate lyrics, and when they get on stage the ~13 year old audience goes "Eeeek, Kyo-sama, kawaiiiii~ 
" at about 140db's And I thought that it was really weird that every single one of them went crazy when he started cutting himself as if it was the coolest thing ever. I heard that he doesn't really do it anymore since most of the audience reacts to it wrong. It's meant to shock people, but the fans go "Eeeek, he's so adorable!

I really like dir en grey, but i have to say they were the worst band i've seen live. They weren't that great live, and the vocalist cut himself with razorblades to be shocking. I still enjoy their albums though.
