Koichi did recommend The Gathering by Testament, which is one of the best albums ever. His other recommendations sucked though.

Well this was ages ago, actually, before I had any Testament cds I think. Or maybe I had Low because Sydo would have recommended that one to me for sure, so I only had one Testament cd, and I heard the song Fall Of Sipledome about 4 years ago before I could tolerate death vocals (and I still dont like most of them, they always suck so much ass those vocalists for the most part) and didnt like it. But when I heard the first song on the cd i.e. DNR I went:

That is why I thought you wouldn't have needed it recommended to you. It has a good reputation as a modern thrash album, and your a big Slayer fan and Lombardo plays on it.

FOS has REALLY deathy vocals though, its not like that the whole album (and FOS is one of my favourite songs now, go figure...) so thats what threw me
