listen, syl will never top city, just like In Flames wont top Colony, Nevermore wont top Dead Heart (thats right, dead heart in a dead fucking world my friends), Metallica wont top Master of Puppets, Megadeth wont top Rust in Peace, etc etc. Alien is a great record. SYL is an EXTREME metal band. That means tons of double bass and a thick bass line all the way through. If you dont like it, who cares.
