well, I will pass judgment on the party thing after I've done it, but it seems to me that you couldn't even listen to a 4-in-1 CD without quadrophonic speakers arranged around a room, since you're supposed to move to different parts of the room to hear what you want stronger...it would just be a mess if everything was squashed together and pumped through a single boom box, eh?

i think i mentioned this when the zaireeka thing came up before, but once on the radio we mixed the Neurosis Times of Grace and Tribes of Neurot disc that went along with it. We didn't have 4 cd players though, so we wouldn't have been able to do the flaming lips thing.
