I used to use reaper but then got Studio One and have since upgraded to Studio One V2. Love it. It's so easy to use and very Workflow oriented. And since its a newer DAW the S1 community is very tight. The forum in that website is so helpful and packed with extra info.
The only thing I'm missing in my life is a pitch shifter (for dive bombs and vocal drops). I'm using the one that comes with Audacity (free) but man as soon as S1 gets that I will be in DAW heaven.
Yeah I tried everything dude and still nothing. And I have never heard of Studio One, I heard cubase is good from a few people and some good things bout logic
Yeah cubase and logic seem like solid DAWs judging my the number of pros who use them both. I've got friends who use both as well that don't complain about them too often except for when Logic crashes after installing new plugins sometimes. Not sure if its just a mac thing though. I haven't played extensively in either one though so I'm not apt to give a review. So I still say S1.
Figured. Addition to my problem, when I pan hard left, it shows up on the right a little, but if i go hard right with that track, it doesnt pan it just goes away

Definitely sounds like an user error, and especially routing error
Create a new track, make it go straight to the master bus, no plugins, see if it pans normally. Don't use sends, but just routing. If it doesn't, the problem is in the master bus being mono. If it doesn't, then route it to the guitar bus, see if it pans normally. if it again disappears if you pan it to the right, the guitar bus is mono, but if you see it on the meters but no sound on the hard right, then your speaker cable is broken.
