MIDI-Routing in Cubase 5?

Hi there,

I'm new to Cubase 5 Essentials and I have a problem with MIDI-routing:

I can't find the output-channels of sampler and instruments, such as Superior Drummer 2.0, anymore. I want to edit bass drum, snare and toms outside of SSD with some plug-ins.

In SX3 I doubleclicked on the instrument track and I had them all in the window.

I can't fix the problem by using the manual. Could someone help me please?

Right next to the little "e" button :D

It's the fucking dumbest thing they changed from version 3 though.

Ok thx ... that's the last place I expected it to be. ;)

@Loren
I see you are using Cubase 5 on Mac too ... could you use suggest me some alternatives for popular Windows-VSTs like gClip, Antress Mondern Suite and so on?

I think its a great feature. I always add several additional instances of DFHS on top of my main kit, sometimes just for 1 drum, and I don't want 16 more audio channels showing up in my mixer and taking space when I only need 1 stereo track. I usually have 50 to 100 tracks going on in my songs anyway and all those additional channels just get confusing as hell. You could 'hide' unmapped VST tracks in older versions of Cubase, but that's a major pain in the ass.
