i have just creamed myself

*reads band list* Whoa dude!!! That's a lot of similar-sounding music being played in one place! And for 40 bucks? Awesome. Shit man, it costs like 80 pounds (130 dollars) for tickets to 2-day indie/pop/nu-metal fests. How truly 'thetic.

The entire "brutal" death metal scene is a boring joke. What do you people see in this shit?

I guess I'll chime in on this one.

It depends on what you're looking for. For starters, I see some of the best metal musicians (particulary drummers). I've always listened to and written agressive music with a challenge. Therefore, I wouldn't consider it boring. As far as it being a joke, yeah, I guess it is if you can't appreciate a lot of great musicianship. Look past the traditional stereotype, and you'll find a lot in this "shit".

I love death metal...but something just gets to noisy for me... Among my faves are : DEATH, Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Morbid Angel, Nile, Suffocation, Pestilence and Blood Red Throne

That sounds fucking excellent.
Hell of a drive from western NC though.

Try driving from south Texas...which i will upon the theft of an automobile, the forging of a driver's license, and the slaughter of a large farm animal (okay, that one is just for fun). But truthfully, the show sounds as its going to be, the word of the day, brutal. Haven't heard of most of the bands but if Circle of Dead Children is on the list, tis bound to be excellent!
