I have a feeling this'll be Skyfires breakout album for sure...TD already got excellent buzz going around. I think this will just solidfy that Skyfire aren't "another CoB" clone...though of course we're gonna have reviewers comparing them to CoB

I don't know...I don't think MR will be compared to CoB as much. While I could see what people were talking about TD, I didn't perceive them to be a clone. More like an improvement, or a different perspective. MR, while still bearing resemblences to other bands in the genre, sounds more like Skyfire than anything else. It's definitely a development of the band's sound as opposed to a rehashing, and it is more unique than TD. Sounds corny, but that's the best, most objective thing I can come up with right now.

i think CoB comparisons are usualy way off base. no one sounds like the CoB of the first 3 albums. alexi just has a certain style that is unmistakable. poeple say skyfire and kalmah sound like CoB, but they dont. all 3 have their own sound. idiots. and what app you guys finding these songs on? no body on kazaa seems to have em yet.

I don't really care if you download the album, just as long as you buy it when it is released!

Good to hear. And yes, we will all buy the album when it is unveiled (like the universe!!!!). We have to give the label a reason to setup a tour, you know. Well, that and give you guys the opportunity to put food on your table.
But more so the tour.
