I just heard the final product (no pun intended) of my band's cd

It better not be gay.

It's far from gay. I'll post a track as soon as I get the go-ahead. I fucking love it.

You may hate it, but it won't be gay. It's not a riff-driven album...it's very atmospheric, polyrhythmic. There are no solos.

Wolfie, you've got great taste in music, and I think you'll like it, although it's not a "pure" metal album. It has strong metal roots but draws from many things. In other words, it's not a "get-drunk-and-bang-your-head" album or band.

But he'll never let us hear it. That's the point.

Again, I'll let you hear it as soon as I get the go-ahead. When the myspace page is up, you can go there and listen to it as well.

I'm not going to say you'll love it...in fact you may dislike it, even hate it.

But that's not the point. If you want to at least hear my drummer, go to his myspace page at myspace.com/darth manu

I had nothing to do with the album, except for small input here and there with lyrics and sound. He found me after he finished writing it himself. The next album, which we're working on now, will include my input. I've learned the songs and I'm currently getting the rest of the lineup together for live and the next album. I think it will be something like Satyricon or Anaal Nathrakh has done, where the drummer and guitarist are the band and do all the writing and there will be a live lineup and a studio lineup. We share a vision and it's very hard to find others who share that same vision.

Emanuele, my drummer, will get all the praise and criticism and royalties for this album IF it even goes anywhere. I cannot take credit for the first album, as I was just his guitar player.

So if you like the album, tell him because he composed and recorded everything. I even offered to take the guitar duties and help pay for the recording process, but he said he started it completely alone and wanted to finish it completely alone. It's his baby. The band is called Skylab and the album will be called Artificial.

Your loss.

And that wasn't very nice. I'm disappointed in you, really.

I thought you were a lot cooler than that, being a Sard 'n all.

You claim you've been around a long time and still haven't figured out my spiny personality and sense of humor?

That's what puzzled me...you're usually quite blunt with everyone and I assessed that you were just being blunt.

I sincerely apologize!

The idea is that unless someone has known me for years, or has either spent a significant amount of time with me or talking to me will have no clue when I'm serious or not unless it's a debate.
