I still haven't graduated to portable mp3 players yet, and I have no intention to at the moment, but all of the self-compiled cassettes I made in my high school days are buried under a thick sheet of dust.

I had a portable MP3 CD player - those are great. You can put maybe 10 albums on a single CD.

Funny how everyone is trying to stop spending these days. My taxes in NY just went up, and the refinancing of my mortgage came out short on the escrow. Put it this way, I'm having to fork out an extra $500 per month. America is becoming quite an expensive country to live in...

Yeah seriously, when I first came to the US, everyone was like, "oh London is soooo expensive". Pfft, it's about the same as NY, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, and maybe San Diego. If you're not loaded, try to avoid living in those areas.

Too much work first ripping all the albums and then burning them to cds, it's easier just to bring 4-6 albums each day like I do.

I'm trying to stop spending so I can finance a grim tattoo. You know, we are supposed to have those. I'm not so good at it.
