I just won some award and a hundred bucks

Today was our Library Barbecue outdoors. I arrived late because I'm doing schoolwork, ate quickly, and started to rush out. The big boss started a speech, though, so I sat down so as not to have to slink by him.

After talking for a minute about the Staff Recognition Awards, he called my name and made me come up while everyone politely clapped. He gave me a $100 gift certificate to Amazon.com and a giant plaque-type thing!

good thing I didn't take off. i took a picture of me and the plaque to send to my friends who say I obviously never do any work because I'm screwing around on the internet all day. now, what to buy!
