So genius asked about smaller ones for listening back to tunes, and some guys have asked about phones for mixing... Im trying to find some good new ones for drum use... obviously clear, -loud- and noise cancelling is key... are the wireless ones any good? I hate the cords hanging down my back. Budget doesnt matter TOO much, although, I'd obviously prefer to save $$$ when/where I can.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know about wireless cans, but I always use Vic Firth Isolation Headphones when recording. You'll get absolutely no bleed from them at all while recording vocals, and the only sound they let through while playing drums is the low end. The actual sound of the headphones is pretty average, but I don't think that matters while tracking.

i agree with everything here about the vicfirths. they are excellent for trackings drums. i am a drummer and i really like them. the sennheisers hd280s are good too. they are twice as expensive but they are probably alittle better sounding. that said i think the vicfirths have better isolation. try them out and see what you like.
