I listened to these records again.
Demonic: Not front-loaded! New Eyes of Old rips, Murky Waters with its awesome swampy doom part, Ten Thousand Thrones is awesome, inspite of a strange bridge there. I think this is better than what you might remember it as, avi, give it another spin.
The Gathering suffers from 'we play thrash and there's only so many good riffs in us for a single record, sorry' disease though. At least it's economic, all the good stuff is crammed into the first two songs. Would be the best single ever.
