I learn my ProgPower fate on Saturday...

Hope to see you down at the fest Zod!
No more regs bailing will be tolerated! :)

Unfortunately, now I'm faced with a dilemma. I have a great job opportunity, doing something that I'd be good at and would look great on a resume, but it is only for one month - October. The first week being the most important. Eventhough the job is only temporary, they often hire back the same people after having worked with them. It's all who you know, and this could possibly be my "foot in the door" to the career I've been seeking, and might help finance Madfest 2008 with a corporate sponsorship (*fingers crossed*) ...... How do I turn this down? Yet, how do I not go to ProgPower? Technically, all I have invested in PP is the cost of my Gold Badge, no one is counting on me for travel plans, and I cold easily fill my spot in the hotel room. So..... I guess it's time to make a "big girl" decision.

I thought I had finally beat the roadblocks for PP! Good luck, Zod! This sucks! :erk:

Dude! Greg! I hope everything works out and you can make it!

Congrats on going for your Masters though and in such a good field! Us computer geeks and Zero Hour fans have to stick together.

Here's hoping you can make it! :kickass::kickass::kickass:

Wow Tammy - that's a toughy alright. Can't they shift everything by one week?!?!? Hoping that everything works out for the best!

Two years ago tonight, I realized that I was missing PP 6. Beyond the circumstances behind that, it really bummed me out to miss it. I feel your pain. :-(

Did you NOT read the memo? No more bailing, dammit!
(Big gamble, if you take it, I hope it follows through for you. Best of luck on whatever you decide to do!)

I remember getting that e-mail..... :(

So I began classes for my masters this past Saturday. When the first professor handed out his curriculum, Zod

Zod, you should be nice and ask him if it is possible to reschedule. If that doesn't work..... beg. If that doesn't work, then I think threatening bodily harm might do it. If he still isn't convinced, maybe you should tell him that you are going to eviscerate his immediate family, eat their livers, regurgitate it and bake it into a pie just for him because you are The Mighty Zod and you are going to Prog-Power.

All this talk of regurgitated family liver pie is making me hungry.

And Zod, the solution is easy, just offer them Australia.
