I had similar stuff, I'm about to finish my MBA, only 2 subjects left and the one I'm currently in I had to expose a finance case study of a transnational compay (I've chosen TI since I work there, it's easy to find info).

So the teacher wanted the last week of the subject (Oct 5th - 6th) to do the exposition.

Luckly I agreed with the teacher to do this one week early but deal is... it's too much work to do left!! I better start otherwise I'll miss PP due failing the subject!

Yep, I have a new challenge everyone! Still not sure about the job thing, but now my buddy who I was going to ride with has decided to back out of going. Long story, but needless to say, I'm not sitting in a good position right now. If I attempt to buy a plane/bus/train ticket now it will likely be out of my financial range while also being able to cover my part of the hotel room too. Nearly everyone from Texas that I know is flying to the event. I would have bought a ticket months ago but until August I wasn't sure if I'd still be living in Texas or not. Since I have stayed here and it was getting closer to the festival, it was going to work perfectly that I tag along with my friend and help out with travel expenses. My car is in no position to make the trip to ATL and back, I have no credit cards so I am not renting a car, and I don't have a bike either! lol!

Haven't heard from the job yet but I'm pretty sure I'm going to turn it down now that I've had some time to think about it. I don't want to work for a cigarette company

So yes, I'm even less sure if I'm coming now.

A train would be awesome, but Pellaz said that it's tough to travel via train from anywhere west of New Orleans Traveling with forum family by car is my first choice, by plane is second, train is my third. At this point, I'm ready to do whatever I can financially get away with! The problem is most people have their plans set already, and every person I know from Texas is flying, so... I'll keep you all updated! Keep your fingers crossed!

Well, to clarify, it's tough to travel to Atlanta from anywhere west of New Orleans, because a layover in the Big Easy is required....knowing Amtrak, it's probably 12-18 hours of layover. 'Course, if you've got the time, Jackson Square and Cafe du Monde await ye.

She's pregnant (we're expecting a boy Nov1st) and I think the weekend would have been just too much for her. She's only gained about 10 lbs so far but she's been getting tired quite a bit lately.
