I miked Some real drums. Come check it out

hey i finally did some real drum miking, the snare and kick and are blended and it was on a ludwig kit, with a pork pie snare. the mikes were digital refrence kit haha and a sm7 on the highhat and a 57 on the snare. the acoustic was miked with a sm7 and the electric guitar was impulsed. i wanted it to lay in the background to. so thats why it sounds a little crappy. http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7091464

well the volumes of the entire kit is low. they are too dark, the highs need to come up. The bass drum is too dull it just thumps and itsnt really heard. and the snare sounds boomy, like it needs more highs and mids.

the actaul toen is great, real punchy, the mixing just needs work.

Sweet so bring up more clairty in the ohs or the whole drum buss in general? and more highs in the kit? how is the acoustic?

I like the sound of drums, it fits the character of the song quite well.
Can you tell, what plugins did you use on drum tracks, especially what kind of reverb was on snare, and what was its settings.

There are some problems with the drum rhythms I think,... Some parts sound weird.
