I need a DVD burner.

And I'm looking for advice from you good folk, because using CD-Rs to back up data isn't cutting it when I have almost 3 gigs of personal shit on my harddrive now.

Any suggestions? I don't need anything mega fast, just something reliable and as inexpensive as possible, internal drive only. What about dual layer shit, is that stuff necessary?

I have had very good luck w my Sony Dual Layer. I recommend Sony, Plextor, TDK, HP. Should be able to get any of these internal in Single or Dual layer for under $100

Okay I have another question, thanks for ze replies so far.

I have Nero for my current CD burner, and I really like the format so I was just going to use that, but the Nero CD-ROM says "can only be used with cd drive disc bundled with." So do I need to get new software for them shitz, or is there an easy away around that?

Meh, Nero Suite costs $5 when purchased with a DVD burner, I can jew up for that just in case. Then I'll have to use two versions of Nero depending on which drive I want to burn with. That's foolish. Nero costs $69 for a registered version. GOD DAMMIT.
