Hey I Need advice on how to best use my BOSS me 70 to mimic alexis or roopes tone

i have an ibanez RG5EX1 and a Marshall 10 watt combo amp

also who do you think has better tone roope or alexi...
some say roope has better tone..

hmm I have the ME 70 and you can't really get Alexi's sound with the distortion and pre amp selections on the pedal.
The most decent distortion on the ME 70 is the Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier model.
With the gain turned all the way up, bass at 10 o'clock, Mids at 2 o'clock, and treble at 12 o'clock i can get a really good Jeff Loomis/John Petrucci type sound.
