I think I finally got the Metalcore sound the band wanted.

Band is While Your Heart Beats. They're located in Brisbane, Aussie.

Constructive Crit is appreciated!

Guitars:
TSS -> 6505 -> s-preshigh

Drums:
Cymbals are s2.0; other drums are samples I made by combining a good amount of samples.

Quad tracked , yes. Gain is at about 2 right now.

But ill try to go lower to see how it sounds

Guitars seem a little thin, maybe that's cause there is so much gain. Good mix though.

snare sounds a little disconnected from the mix, put overall this is really good. what did you run out of the 6505? fx or power amp?

Drums sound great, but very machine like. More humanization required.

The guitars need more mids and bass.

Personally, I didn't edit the guitars at all. Except for amping, and shit.

do you have a noise gate on the guitars? that could be producing the chopping sound that everyone is referring to, since it does sound a little programmed.

I think on the old mix, yes i noise gated them. New one, I don't believe i did.
