I think I just bought a cd I already own

So I went to Best Buy to pick up the new Dickinson album. While there I noticed they had Opeth - Deliverance. I thought what the hell, I don't own it yet so I pick that up too. So now as I listen to this cd I'm almost posititve I bought it a couple months back and forgot about it.

In the case of repeated Opeth cd purchases, if you didn't buy a record you already owned, you bought a record you almost already owned.

Yeah, after listening to it again I think I remember why I forgot I already owned it. It's not all too interesting.

Oh man I love that album, especially the ending of the title track.

Every riff that rules on that album lasts about 2.5 minutes too long.

What are you talking about a great riff should be repeated 64 times because listen to that twin harmonic sometimes it's not the same and listen to how we chopped off a sixteenth at the end and it's all unbalanced and loopsided and prog and listen it's hypnotizing!

There's no way I can beat Helm in this thread, I'm just trying to share my like, opinion, man.

deliverance is the worst opeth albuim by far

but i like the end of the title track

but things are going on behind the guitars that are changing


it does stuff

you just have to pay attention

the new opeth album is better than deliverance by a lot

I think the third song maybe, the one that starts off slow, has a really cool doomy riff at the end, which also lasts too long, but still, it's a really cool riff.
