Clinton tried bombing Bin Laden, by lobbing a couple of missles at an aspirin factory... after hours so that no one would get hurt. :zombie:
the first failure in Somalia, after the Black Hawk helicopter was shot down, Clinton rushed out like a scalded dog then tossed responsibility to the local police forces.
that show of cowardice on Clinton's part prompted Bin Laden to say in a later interview that America was a 'paper tiger' and that we'd run at the first sign of trouble.
do you honestly believe your local police force could sniff out and stop a terrorist threat, given the well-organized and funded efforts such organizations have shown?
arent our local police forces strapped enough with every day crimes, or do you suggest they let everything else... robberies, rapes, murders, drug trafficking... let it all go and concentrate on terrorism?
Clinton was a coward. he had no backbone and he made this nation a laughing stock.
as for the US policy towards the Middle East, it isnt the policy that's failing. it's the 15th century frame of mind that keeps peaceful efforts from working, forcing us to take stiffer measures.

i guess that's the difference between a pampered sociopath and a real man. :Smug:
Sounds like somebody has caught another severe case of pundititus.
Chill, baby, Chill.
