what really pisses me off about ibanez is that they have like whole other line of guitars only available in Japan...not to mention ther custom shop is closed (at least from what I hear)

I picked up this RG770 back in 2001 in Japan for about $550 (at the time the yen conversion was great). Only upgrade I did was a Dimarzio evolution bridge pickup. it's flamed maple and has White binding all around the neck. I believe this neck were sort of the leftovers from the petrucci model after he left them. I was back in Japan this summer and was at a ESP shop in Hiroshima, those will make you :OMG:
and the new Ibanezs look fine but not too sure about their new bridge design

yeah, its looks like nothing more than the petrucci model without the sick picasso paint...
the japan 8670 is awesome, so isnt the 3270M and RGRT47DX..there even still making the Paul Gilbert models over there, what gives?!?!

I'm not sure if they got to Europe, but you should look out for Heartfield/Fender Talon series guitars. They are more or less a Jem/RG but with STOCK DiMarzio pickups, Gotoh tuners and a GENUINE Floyd Rose. Made at the Hoshino factory in Japan and they are fairly cheap but not that easy to come accross.

I love the 90th 90th anniv one.

by far the best of them all :worship:

Im thinking about getting a picasso paint jonb done on the next ibanez i get after my seven string (prolly a uv777....maybe a rg1527). IM thinking about getting a 1620x and getting it painted wiht a blue and black picasso or if i get a rg1527 instead of the universe then ill get it done on that.

nah dude, not really my thing.....the eight string might be a possiblity once they become more massed produced (i heard ibanez is in the process of developing them) but the nine string isnt even something i would think about.....i owuld either drown my bassist out or be breaking the high d all the time

yeah, but there fuckin TRIPPY just to look at...personally I dont see how you can even play a 8 or more, I mean, your fingers would have to be like 10 inches long! and that whole fanned fret thing is nuts..its such a optical illusion just to look at...
