I am interested in buying a 7 string. I am wondering if they both play well. I think I read that you use both the 7321 and the 1527. But you prefer the 1527 because it has better wood(I think I read this somewhere one the forum). Is the 1527 worth the additional money? I also was thinking of putting a duncan custom in the bridge and a jazz in the neck of whatever guitar I decide on.
Thanks,
Andrew

I think its worth it for sure. It's hard to say exactly why but the 1527's will most likely play better sound better and definitly hold up better.

Chris.

The 1527 is made in the Japanese (better quality) factory under the prestige line. It has a thinner Wizard 1 neck, most likely better wood cuts, and of course, the edge pro 7 tremolo.

The 7321 is Indonesian made (usually lacking quality, problematic quality control). It has a fixed bridge and a thicker Wizard neck.

If its your first Seven string, I'd go for the 7321. You may not like it.
