Which's pretty much the reason why I'd choose the S instead. But that just me, you should try both and decide what feels/sounds best.

If that was the case, I'd prefer a custom made guitar. Jems are overpriced and have that corny monkey grip...

Custom is great, but I'm just gonna wait till I know exactly what I want in a guitar before getting one.
It'd be a damn shame to dish out the dollars for a custom that ends up feeling like a factory guitar.

My old guitar teacher had a JEM and let me use it during lessons, and i'm not kidding, the monkey grip is the most handy, practical thing i've ever seen on a guitar. It's AWESOME.
