I'm again trying to tread into the home recording/playing thing. This time I think i'll go through with it...

i'm such a noob when it comes to this stuff so please help! After hearing some amazing stuff coming out of Revalver i've decided to get it cheap from a friend that was selling it.

So, now what do i need? An audio interface? That's it? Should i run it through something like ableton? or garage band?

Line out into monitors or an actual guitar cab for better live sound?

Just get an audio interface and plug your guitar straight into it for starters. There are alot of different interefaces ranging from very cheap to really expensive. There have been lots of threads about these, so look around.

Revalver might have a stand alone function but it should be run as a plug in inside some recording software if your going to be recording your jams. Try out Reaper since you can try it out almost compeletly unrestricted for as long as you want.
