I'm looking to upgrade from Sound Forge and I'm looking at Wavelab...If I buy this program, would a program like CD architect be necessary, or would Wavelab cover the functions of CD architect?
If I buy Wavelab, do I need a CD burning program?

you can burn directly from Wavelab. Just make sure your CD burner is supported by Wavelab.
I'm not quite sure if that's needed for Wavelab 6 since I use the 5 version but I needed to download some updates from Steinberg to make by CD-R work.
