I'm the guy in charge of all things related to Opeth in the U.S., We are just starting to map out our tour plans and areas. I will keep your comments in mind when we actually start routing the tour. To hold you over you should pick up Loud Music for Loud People cd on Aug.13th. It has a new Opeth song as well as a radio edit of Drapery Falls that has never appeared anywhere before. (end)

Yeah, it's probably the preview one they let out a while ago. I thought that was the whole song until I got the CD, and I got a surprise.

radio edits are made because they prefer to play neat songs that all finish at 4 minutes.

yes, the guy explained it to me....it was cut down so that it could get more radio play, that's all....the cd is nothing to check out, in my opinion....the "new" song is Patterns 2 (I asked him if this is what he meant by "new")....and the rest is some newer bands from Sweden and England, I believe is what he said...

They're putting the song on a CD. You don't NEED radio edits on a CD. That's just not right.

Loud Music for Loud People sounds like a compilation Hondo. Fit as many tracks on it as they can. Not that that makes using the radio edit right.

Where will this be for sale? AND what a cheesy title. Like everyone that likes loud music MUST be loud and annoying themselves. If it's out in August, it might be just what I need to hold me over for the final month of waiting.
